Team Spaces: Daniel’s Studio/Workshop

In this edition of Team Spaces, Roland and Justin visited our engineer Daniel Feldstein at his home. As you walk in, you are immediately met with a thoughtful mix of artwork and rack mounted pro audio gear, much of it modified by Daniel himself.

His engineering skills and ear for sound also played a role in the early product development at Black Lion Audio, where he worked full time from 2006 to 2016, helping shape the sound the company would later become known for.

After his time at Black Lion Audio, Daniel continued his work independently through Danieldialatone, focusing on custom modifications across a range of gear. He was preparing to shift fully into tube-based guitar amp work when our founder Justin reached out in 2024 about the SpaceDrum project. Daniel decided to pause Danieldialatone and join ALAN full-time, and we’re excited to have his experience, perspective, and engineering talent as part of the team.

In his free time, Daniel is a big train enthusiast, you’ll often find him by the tracks recording local rail activity and taking in the graffiti. He’s also an avid food connoisseur with an impressive sauce cabinet.
